Alex Kimble is a bass player who fills all roles on the instrument. Originally from Augusta, West Virginia, he now tours the country playing several genres of music. While holding a bachelor’s in Jazz Studies and a Master’s in Classical Performance from Shenandoah Conservatory, Alex primarily focuses on playing bluegrass music. Most recently he was featured on two Dunlap and Mabe bluegrass albums and Daniel Kelly II’s album The Gathering. Alex has also played stages from Virginia to Utah, New York to Florida and everywhere in-between. With a passion for music, he is now working on building his lesson program and teaching the next generation.
